Phytoestrogens: Many of the herbs in Harmony are what is commonly termed phytoestrogens. These plant substances have an effect on the Hypothalamus and Pituitary gland systems which control hormone production and balance.

In Chinese medicine, the herbs are a tonic for the yin (fluids) and blood which help provide nourishment and prevent dryness. Like an internal moisturiser for the body's cells, Harmony helps protect against premature aging and it's effect such as excessive wrinkles, dry skin and hair, brittle nails and numerous other signs of a deficiency of yin and blood.

Harmony contains the main yin and blood tonic herbs used by millions each day in China and around the world. The herbs are also the main ones used in nearly every Chinese herbal formula prescribed for women's gynecological problems. Added to the formula is 2 of the most effective herbs used in western herbal medicine for women's complaints.
Harmony also contains the minerals Calcium, Magnesium for extra nourishment and Vitamin D for better calcium absotbyion.
This varies greatly. Many women report dramatic positive results in under one week. In others it takes longer, up to a few weeks.
The ingredients have been used extensively through herbal medicine practice dating as far back as 5,000 years ago in China. All medicines though have the potential for side effects. Occasionally people can be sensitive to a herb, just the same as certain foods, and should then avoid taking them.
