  1. Ascorbic acid does a lot of things inside and outside the body. It boosts the immune system, protects the cells from free radical damage and it also smooths out the texture of the skin when used topically. I see to eat that i get my daily Vitamin-C from natural fruits juices plus ascorbic acid supplements.

  2. food supplementation with glucosamine and chondroitin helps me a lot in managing arthritis. dont forget to have regular exercise too.

  3. what i do to combat hair loss is use minoxidil and also topical copper peptide.

  4. You have a tendency to have allergies; you may have several different symptoms caused by your allergic reactions; this often runs in families; we don’t know why.

  5. Thanks you for posting this guide. The information is very complete and useful. I’m glad you posted natural remedies too.

  6. Regarding home production, unless you have access to unlimited raw botanical material, attempting to produce your own essential oils at home is not practicable. Even a plant that produces a generous amount of essential oil (such as peppermint, for example) will only yield a few drops of essential oil with a “stove top” distillation apparatus. You will, however, produce a generous amount of lovely hydrosol or hydrolat (the other product of steam distillation) Home production of absolutes is totally impractical since it first requires extracting with hexane, followed by washing the resulting concrete with ethanol. Very much a “don’t try this at home, kiddies” process.

  7. I found that keeping a detailed diary of my rosacea flare ups helped a great deal. I was able to identify exactly what my rosacea triggers were. Speaking to other sufferers I found that one persons trigger may not be another persons. For instance alcohol has no effect on me at all (other than the obvious!) but my friend has terrible problems. Also, I found that if I just can’t do without something that is one of my rosacea triggers (chocolate!!!) then taking an anti-histamine before indulging helps reduce the severity.

  8. There’s another article on using vitamins for FEMALE hair loss. It describes why hair loss happens in women, and has very useful supplement advice.

  10. I luv lotions with aloe vera. My skin seems to drink it up, but I tried it in a toothpaste and it made my mouth swell. Seems it’s good for several things.

  11. I’m on a crusade to help people avoid the sugar epidemic too and create a greener planet. Would be willing to help me?

  12. HI George
I agree with the above recommendations but would add, please use sweet almond oil instead of Jojoba, as jojoba has a waxy feel & can leave a residue. Or use pure organic Aloe juice. Also , instead of putting regular soap on your face use, castille w/rose water & lavender hydrosols. this will clean without stripping the natural ph balance from the skin.

  13. Aromatherapy helps my mind and body to get relaxed after a very stressful day at work.
