Korean Ginseng, often referred to as Panax, is highly valued in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is commonly used alone or in combination with other herbs. The name ‘Panax’ is derived from the Greek word for panacea as the herb is said to ‘cure all’. In Chinese the word ‘ginseng’ (schinseng) refers to the human-shaped figure of the roots.
Korean Ginseng is seen as a tonic and adaptogen. It can assist during periods of fatigue, help to maintain stamina and supports the body’s resistance to stress. Its use can be considered in two ways – during short-term periods to support stamina, concentration and resistance to stress during times of fatigue and exertion. It can also be used over the long-term to assist the wellbeing of the individual following illness or debility.
Active Ingredient
- Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains extract equivalent to dried Panax ginseng root powder 410mg.
Dosage
- For adults: take two capsule with a meal twice daily.
